Until Love Finds Me

Until love I shall remain complacent
For I have a wonderful circle around me
Time alone has allowed me to reflect
Solitude has made me appreciate.

Until love I shall remain positive
For I know you are out there somewhere
Life will take me down the path I am destined
Experiences have shaped me.

Until love I shall remain appreciative
For I have so much to be thankful for
Everything occurs for a specific reason
Age has made me wiser.

Until love I shall remain patient
For true love will eventually find me
I’ve been lucky enough to dance with love previously
My spirit has remained faithful.

Only In My Dreams

I just awoke from a dream. I wish I could have recorded it to watch over and over and over. Because you were in my dream. You always appear to be – but never in my reality.

I dreamt that we were together, standing side by side. Holding hands. My favourite pastime.

Looking up at the sky, the suns rays illuminated the sky behind the bright, fluffy clouds. There were birds chirping and children laughing playfully in the background.
I looked at you, only to see that you were already staring at me with adoring eyes.
Everything in the dream seemed perfect. Like in all my dreams – we connected.

I dream about you often, more than I want to.

Now I am awake. My vision is blurry and my mouth is dry because of all the kisses I dreamt of us sharing. I can only rely on my dreams to see you again…
